How to use this template

  1. List the activities. Write down the recurring activities and decisions on your project, one per row.
  2. List the roles. Use roles rather than names so the matrix survives people changing.
  3. Assign exactly one A per row. One person is accountable for every activity; several can be responsible.
  4. Check the balance. Too many Rs on one role signals overload; a row with no R means nobody does the work.
  5. Share and review. Walk through the matrix at kickoff and revisit it when the team changes.

Tips

  • Keep 'Consulted' small: every C is a conversation that can slow decisions.
  • In Scrum, the product owner is accountable for backlog order; the developers are accountable for how the work is done.
  • Taskmei's roles and project permissions can mirror your RACI.

Run it as a live board instead

Spreadsheets go out of date the moment the sprint starts. In Taskmei the same information lives on a live board: backlog items, sprints, risks and Definition of Done stay current and feed dashboards automatically. Use this template in Taskmei on the free plan.
